Lionel Messi, a striker for Paris Saint-Germain, broke yet another amazing career milestone on Sunday.
Messi became the first player in any of Europe’s top five divisions to accomplish the milestone when he scored 20 goals and provided 20 assists for PSG this season in all competitions.

The achievement was accomplished by the World Cup champion of Argentina after assisting Kylian Mbappe’s goal in the eighth minute of PSG’s weekend 2-1 victory against Auxerre.
Messi’s performance against Auxerre also marked another significant turning point in his career as he has now amassed 300 assists overall in his professional career.
With two games remaining, PSG’s victory over Auxerre raised their point total after 36 games to 84, giving them a six-point advantage over Lens in second place.
