Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, has revealed that he has received death threats.

Nonetheless, Potter claims that it has not shaken him as he works to improve the club’s results.

The former Brighton manager is under increasing pressure following last week’s 1-0 Premier League defeat at home to Southampton.

Chelsea, currently 10th in the league, has only won twice in their last 14 games and has only scored one goal at home in 2023.

On Friday, the 47-year-old told the media that he had been the target of email attacks.

“As much as I’ve had support I’ve had some not very nice emails that have come through that want me to die and want my kids to die, so obviously that’s not pleasant to receive.

“Ask my family how life has been for me and for them. It’s been not pleasant at all. I understand supporters go home and they’re annoyed because the team isn’t winning but, I assure you, my life for the last three, four months has been fairly average, apart from the fact I’m really grateful for this experience,”Potter said.
