Al-Nassr coach reacts as Ronaldo fails to score in debut

Rudi Garcia, the coach of Al-Nassr, asserted that Cristiano Ronaldo, despite failing to score in his club debut against Ettifaq on Sunday, has strengthened the team.
After Al-Nassr overcame Ettifaq on the strength of Anderson Talisca’s lone goal, Garcia claimed that Ronaldo’s presence did not ensure an automatic victory in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo, who made his debut in a 1-0 victory over Ettifaq over the weekend, had his formal debut as an Al-Nassr player earlier this month at Mrsool Park.
Garcia told Reuters that after the game, after reviewing Ronaldo’s debut, he was impressed with the 37-year-influence. old’s

“It is a positive addition when you’ve a player like Ronaldo as he helps to distract the defenders, which is what happened with our goal.
“Today, we created opportunities for him and asked the players to diversify the game between him and Talisca, and we must not forget that he participated in the (exhibition match against) Paris St Germain and did not get enough rest.”
“Even with the presence of Ronaldo, it’s not easy to win the Saudi League because of … the strength of the competitors.”
