
The new owner of Twitter, the SpaceX and Tesla founder, Elon Musk has made his plans known as to monetize the Twitter app and reveals how some people will be charged for using the app.
There has been a lot of rumor around of the plan of Elon musk to make revenue with the micro-blogging site.
Musk on Tuesday took to his Twitter account to make the announcement that the micro blogging site might begin charging a small fee from commercial and government users, while adding that “Twitter will always be free for casual users.”
Ever since Elon Musk took ownership of Twitter, he has been making series of suggestions to make the social media platform better – from lay offs to save costs, to new features.
Making the announcement, he wrote;
“Ultimately, the downfall of the Freemasons was giving away their stonecutting services for nothing.
“Twitter will always be free for casual users, but maybe a slight cost for commercial/government users”
