21st August 2021, Prince Omobo Tsola Emiko was crowned the 21st Olu of Warri ‘Ogiame Atuwatse III’
Prince Omobo Tsola Emiko was given birth to on the 2nd of April 1984, and comes from the royal family of Prince Godwin Toritseju Emiko, the late Ogiame Ikenwoli Atuwatse II, and Gladys Durorike Emiko in Warri and the designate is a descendant of Olu Akengbuwa
Ode-Itsekiri, the ancestral home of the Itsekiris in Delta State, the ceremony took place.
A boat regatta was held on the Warri River Before the coronation was held. At the coronation event, while being blindfolded the selection of a ceremonial sword by the Olu was also witnessed as he also picked the sword with the title, Atunwase. His father was Ogiame Atuwatse II.
Personalities who graced the coronation include; Oba Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife, Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy Governor of Edo State Phillip Shaibu, the Deputy Senate President and many others.
