
Kidnappers reduce ransom made for the release of two female students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Ikape campus and non-academic staff of Confluence University of Science and Technology from N30 million to N3 million .
On Sunday at the living faith church located in Osara community in Kogis state, during a night rehearsal, the kidnapping took place.
The kidnappers initial demand was N30 million for the release of the victims.
After much pleading, the kidnappers reduce the ransom form N30 million to N3 million.
One of the relative of the abducted students said that the families been communicating with the kidnappers.
They threated to kill the victims when the parents of the abducted pleaded with them to accept N100,000.
The parents said that even the N100,000 was beyond their reach as a civil servant and begged that they spare the victims life while they run round to raise the money.
The relative of the abducted students also revealed that the kidnappers had earlier abducted a man in the area last week but when they were unable to reach any of his relative as he was without a phone, they let him go and abducted the students and varsity staff.
