Once a fire broke out during a wedding celebration in Lagos on Saturday, April 8th, 2023, chaos reigned.
During the time of the toast, a fire broke out at Yard 158, an event space in Oregun, Lagos, where the wedding celebration was taking place.
According to the online videos that have gone viral, the wedding decorations were seen on fire while the guests fled for safety.
The crowd was calmed down and instructed to leave in an orderly fashion by the master of the ceremony, or MC. Although the cause of the fire remains unknown, the hall was severely damaged.
