
The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari reportedly sacks the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele from his job.
This is coming after Godwin Emefiele expressed his interest in becoming the next president of Nigeria having purchased the presidential form of N100 million.
According to source, aftter several outcry by the public, calling for his resignation shortly after purchasing the N100m form of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Emefiele approached a Federal High Court in Abuja to prevent the country’s electoral body INEC from disqualifying him.
President Buhari in a response to the expression of interest by his appointees ordered the resignation of every one of his cabinet members interested in competing for presidential offices in 2023.
