On January 10, the university’s vice chancellor, Christian Anieke, issued the directive. He claimed that the action was necessary to prevent pupils from wearing inappropriately.

Annie made this statement to the institution’s workers and students as they arrived back from their holidays, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.

“No student is expected to wear slippers, rugged jeans, coloured hair, long fingers, fez caps, or artificial eyelashes,” he directed.

Mr. Anieke urged male pupils to properly comb their hair or shave it, lamenting the fact that the majority of students and staff members wear t-shirts with unapproved ink in violation of the school’s dress code.
