Michael Adebayo Olayinka professionally and popularly known as Ruger is a Nigerian Afrobeat Singer and Songwriter. He was born on September 23, 1999( 22years) in Lagos, Nigeria.
Ruger has both his primary and secondary school education where he obtained his West Africa Examination Certificate, he is currently studying in one of the high-ranking universities in Nigeria the name of the University is unknown.
Career
When Ruger was young he loved music and was part of the Church choir. He started composing music in high school and from there, he was part of the school, he usually performed at concerts organized by the school and local performances in Lagos.
In 2020, he met D Prince who signed him to the Jonzing World record label, D Prince is the brother of Don jazzy, the founder of Mavin Record is the CEO of Jonzing World record label. On January 20, 2021, he released “One Shirt” in which he featured Rema and D’Prince. After his debut single, in March 2021he released Pandemic The EP Album which comprises six tracks, Ruger, Abu Dhabi, Now, Monalisa, Bounce, and Yekpa which was produced by Kukubeatz
He released Bounce shortly after his pandemic Debut Ep album, this song was a hit this bring him more into and make him known in the Nigerian music industry this was followed by other hits like Dior.
