Simi’s mother, a Nigerian artist, has expressed regret about the challenges she faced in obtaining a permanent voter identification card (PVC).
According to reports, a large number of Nigerians are experiencing trouble picking up their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) and have given the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) the responsibility for the delay.

The mother of Simi revealed her story in a tweet on Facebook, revealing that she had faced numerous challenges in obtaining a PVC transfer. She claimed that the strain she experienced was caused by having to give her blood in return.
She claimed that she received her PVC after the stress. She went on to exhort the populace to choose PVC.
She wrote:
“#PVCCollection see the way I held on to my PVC. I did transfer and almost gave blood to collect it today. I had to go to 4 centres via bus to eke nape to okay to taxi. From 10 am-3 pm but the joy I felt when I got it made up for it. I refused to give up. Go and collect your PVC.”
