The group stage matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup are in its final round and seven countries have already qualified for the tournament’s Round of 16.
France became the first county to qualify for the pre-quarterfinals after beating Denmark in its second group-stage match.
Brazil also secured it’s place in the Round of 16, with wins over Switzerland. Portugal did same with a win over Uruguay in its second group stage match.
Netherlands also got a spot on Tuesday, with a 2-0 win over host Qatar.
Senegal on the other hand, became the first African country to qualify for the Round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup, after defeating Ecuador 2-1 on Tuesday.
England and USA became the sixth and seventh team to secure a spot in the Round of 16 after defeating Wales and Iran in their final group-stage match.
The Three Lions hammered Wales 3-0, while USA got a 1-0 win over Iran.
