Popular American rapper Cardi B deletes her Twitter account after receiving criticism from fans for not attending the Grammys on Sunday.
The 29 year old lady who is the mother of two took to her Twitter page to respond to trolls on the micro-blogging site before deleting her account after they started bullying and attacking on her children online.
“I’m deleting my Twitter but On God I hate this f–kin dumbass fan base. You got the slow dumbasses dragging my kids all-cause y’all though [sic] I was going to the Grammys and I didn’t the f–k ?”
‘When the f*** I hinted I was going? Just f***ing stupid. I can’t. I needs [sic] to protect myself.’
She later took to Instagram Live shortly after deleting her Twitter to explain why she got irritated and deleted her account.
According to her, she does not have any new music and can’t show up with just one nomination.
Cardi B was nominated for Best Rap Performance for Up but lost to Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar for their song titled ‘Family Ties.’
The 64th Annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday Night, April 3, 2022 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, hosted by Trevor Noah.
