The American rapper and singer, Montero Lamar Hill, popularly known by his stage name as Lil Nas X has said that he is going to resign from Illuminati if he doesn’t win a Grammy award.
Lil Nas x who is a Grammy awards 2022 nominee on Saturday took to his official and verified Twitter page to say that he will send his resignation letter to Illuminati if he does not win Grammy Awards this year.
Illuminati is a name given to several groups, both real and fictitious. Historically, the name usually refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on 1 May 1776 in Bavaria, today part of Germany.
According to the singer, he will quite if he doesn’t win a Grammy.
The singer wrote;
“if i don’t leave with grammys tomorrow i will be formally turning in my resignation letter to the illuminati”.
The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will be coming off today, Sunday Night, April 3, 2022, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, hosted by Trevor Noah.
The Grammy Awards winning rapper has been nominated in the Record of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Melodic Rap Performance, and Best Music Video categories respectively, and is very much hopeful of winning a Grammy Awards tonight.
