A member of the Deeper Life Bible Church who is identified as Prince Dele Banjo writes an open letter to the founder of the church, Pastor W.F Kumuyi over the introduction of unconventional music in the church.
In a post which he shared on Facebook, the deeper life member asked why pastor Kumuyi was introducing unconventional music to Deeper Life Bible Church through the invitation of external musicians.
According to him, the pastor did not raise the church with such music but instead he raised them with hymns and choir songs alone. According to him, he believe that the introduction of unconventional music and the invitation of external musicians to Deeper Life could run contrary to the founding principles of Deeper Life Bible Church.
The pastor, Kumuyi had recently invited some musical artistes and business personalities to the church for a youth summit and dismissed outrage at the invitation, saying members of his congregation can learn from them.
