On the 22nd of October 2021, the Nigerian rapper Ladipoe released a new single titled “Running” featuring Fireboy DML ahead of his highly anticipated EP next month.
In the song release, around verse two Fireboy said ” Afrobeats or na kpangolo I took that shit international”
Fireboy in celebrating the song’s success made a video also repeating the lyrics, made the same statement “I took that shit international”
Fans took to Tweeter expressing their love for the song and confirming the fact that Fireboy took afrobeat international.
