Two persons at Lekki tollgate were reportedly arrested as Nigerians made plans to commemorate a one year anniversary of the ENDSARS protest which took place 20th of October 2020.
The state police command on Tuesday made a statement warning people against protesting in the street, only indoors and virtual events will be allowed.
The Lekki tollgate was heavily guarded by police in order to Prevent the the protest which turned out bloody last year.
One among the two persons who were arrested at the Lekki tollgate claimed he was a journalist while the other stormed the tollgate with a placard with the intension of starting a protest.
The two of are presently being place in police black Maria vans.
